From Our letter of 17218 and minutes on 23628, it would appear from subsequent Paper 128212 that the allowance equal to his half salary of post which Mr Kyshe is at present receiving is ordinary subsistence allowance paid to officer while his pension is being calculated - which is subject to adjustment afterwards; but Mr Kyshe will not claim that this period will count towards pension service & in spite of the terms of letter retiring him from the 18th of May.
